Annie Duke you will commonly hear her name in poker because she is one of the best poker professional players in female category. She first started playing games in card rooms of Montana. Later in 1994 she and her husband moved to Las Vegas to purse their professional jobs.

Professional poker players call Annie Duke “Duchess of Poker”, “Annie Legend”, and “The Duke”. She doesn’t consider herself as women; she just knows that when she is into the game she should play like a player. Probably this is the main reason why she won so many international games, which were tough for some of the top poker professional players. Her brother Howard Lederer is also one of the famous names you see in poker, he and her both are allies in the game and they both play well.
